The idea behind this product is pretty neat and straightforward, but the final result just doesn’t hit the mark taste-wise. I ran into some trouble with the info provided on the packaging and the website about what goes into the cake and its flavor. It doesn’t even specify what kind of cake it is! Great concept, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

I like to measure my own ingredients so I can be sure of what I’m getting.

The label doesn’t list any ingredients or indicate the cake’s flavor. If I were to grab this off a store shelf, I’d be totally in the dark about what it is. I checked the website for details, but it still wasn’t clear what flavor the cake is supposed to be. As for the taste, it lacked a strong flavor; I found it pretty bland, and I followed the instructions to the letter.

Since we were looking after a dog during the half term, we figured this would be a great thing to do. We also picked up a human baking bottle, and both items were a hit. We'll surely be ordering again!
